We’re glad you asked.

We Value People

We believe that every person is made in the image of God and should have what they need to thrive. While it’s easy for us to forget—even ignore—those who are less fortunate than us, the fact that people are living without basic needs is one that we would like to change. Whether you live in New York City or a rural village in Haiti, you deserve the right to prosper.

We Pursue Excellence

We strive to create solutions that lead to lasting change. In order to ensure the best possible results, we design and engineer our products to comply with international quality standards.Focusing on human-centered design, we spend time on the front end of the development process to research community needs and test and refine our solutions.

We Create Solutions

If today’s engineers have the capacity to create self-driving cars, then why not create solutions that alleviate global poverty? Communities in developing nations are often given technology that breaks and isn’t sustainable. We want to fill the market with products that do more than provide temporary relief. We want to provide solutions that make a lasting difference.

We Live Out Our Faith

We see a world of hurt, pain, and suffering and believe that God has called us to do something about it. Founded on Christian principles, Design Outreach operates with the belief that all people are made in the image of God and should be served and loved equally (see our Statement of Faith below). We believe there is no better way to share God’s love than to provide people with the most essential element of life: safe and reliable water.
